returned home today from one of my best fishing trips to date, a hidden danish pike paradise. private lakes with an overflow of giants ready to strike at anytime.
i recived an invitation from a good friend and amazing fisherman. Tobias Larsen to go fish with him at some private lakes, an invitation i couldnt say no to.
over the intire 5 days we ended up with 99 pikes total with an avarage size of 4kg up to 7kg. we saw bigger fish but unfortunetly we never hooked one.
the first day we trolled alot, we tryed alot of baits and collours but in the end it was my Roach model that did the job. it was simply amazing for trolling even and super slow speed it had superb action in the water.
catching allmost all total of 30 fish that day. using the Silver surfer, the Brownie and Rudd collours. The silver surfer took first place by a far then at most fish cought then came the brownie then rudd.
and it was basicly this way every day for the intire trip
after a few days i started fishing my pike model, the very first cast i hooked a 6.5kg pike, and then lots followed after that.
but as the pictures shows the roach as silver surfer and the brownie collours. the pike model now named Sheriff Lobo. they simply did the amazing.
allso tobias finally showed me why he likes my spinnerbaits by getting a madam on the very first cast. and a few more to follow. they even got fish as we did some trolling.!.
i must admit i made the roach and perch models for jerkbait fishing but
they are truely a wonderbait if used as swimbait or for trolling they
basicly quadroupled the strikes. switching betwin fast and slow
retriving with a jerk then wait then fast then slow retrive again it couldnt go wrong.
enjoy the pictures.!
very nice pikes, very nice place and very nice lures ! ;)

SvarSletwe don't have pikes here, I can only imagine hooking on a 20lb fish in my dream, but bass would never grow that big :-)
